Free Website Accessibility Checker

Scan your website across multiple pages for automatically detectable WCAG 2.2 A/AA accessibility barriers. No account required.

Instant Automated Scan · Results in seconds · Not a compliance certificate

More than a one-page accessibility check

Competitors mostly sell axe-core, a score, and a list of nodes. This scanner is built to show how a problem behaves across a site — then stop before claiming the site is accessible.

Multi-page crawling

Discovers pages through the sitemap and internal links — not just the URL you typed.

Two independent testing engines

axe-core and IBM Equal Access run on the same rendered page. Findings are merged and de-duplicated.

WCAG 2.2 A/AA automated baseline

Automatically testable A and AA conditions. WCAG 2.1 AA is used when a contract or regulation requires it.

Duplicate issue grouping

183 repeated failures do not become 183 different problems. Shared components collapse into one finding with occurrence counts.

Site-wide vs page-specific findings

The report shows how broadly a problem spreads — one header defect versus a single page.

Needs Review

The scanner distinguishes machine-confirmed failures from issues that still need a person.

Affected pages and occurrences

Each unique issue lists where it showed up and how many times.

Shareable report + PDF

Send the report URL. Export a PDF when you need a snapshot for a developer or stakeholder.

No false claim of full WCAG compliance — the manual website accessibility audit remains a separate service.

What a grouped report looks like

One header contrast defect repeated a hundred times is one systemic finding with 100 occurrences — not 100 unrelated problems.

Example scan

18 pages discovered · 18 pages scanned

214

9

unique accessibility issues

  • 4 Serious
  • 5 Moderate
  • 1 Needs Review

That is the difference between a dump of every axe node and a site scan your developers can actually work. The engines still miss a large share of WCAG. Use this to find repeated, machine-testable barriers — then decide whether you need a human review.

Questions

Does this checker prove WCAG or ADA compliance?
No. Automated testing catches a subset of WCAG failures. Keyboard traps, focus order, and whether labels make sense still need a person. The Instant Automated Scan is not a human review and not an audit report.
How is this different from a typical free axe checker?
Most free checkers test one page with a single engine. This scanner discovers pages through the sitemap and internal links, renders them in a real browser, runs axe-core and IBM Equal Access, then groups repeated failures into unique issues.
How many pages do you scan?
The crawler follows the sitemap and same-site links, up to 40 pages per scan. The report shows how many pages were discovered versus scanned.
What does Needs Review mean?
Needs Review is for issues the engines cannot confirm as a hard failure — incomplete checks and items that still need a person. Machine-confirmed failures stay in the severity list.
